Good questions outrank easy answers.
I started playing Animal crossing again the other day, and after discovering that the town I once so carefully constructed and moulded into a metropolis of talking animals that would forever more co exist in beautiful harmonious bliss, was now a smouldering ruin riddled with weeds, holes and animal corpses I, naturally, got pissed off and started again,
So started again I did! and seriously, it’s just stupid how addicting this game is, I thought I got over it but no, I’ve been playing it nonstop for a couple of days now, and you know you’ve got problems when you start basing everything in my real life around the schedule that the game demands. Now id you’ll excuse me I have turnips to harvest, fruit to gather and a T-rex skeleton in my house for some reason.
Today I looked into what the future of gaming had in for us, and I am excited to say the least, for anyone who didn’t check out E3 or any other form of video game news in the last few months, here are a few of the bigger releases condensed down for you, and our initial thoughts on them, starting with….
This, this game is the one, the one I’m most excited about, in my opinion, any game I ever mention that isn’t Zelda or anything to do with Zelda is second best, and this is the reason Nintendo will always be number 1. Treyarch and Activision can release as many COD games as they want, they’ll never top this.
So what can I say after that introduction about Skyward Sword? It’s a Zelda game; it will probably have the same rehashed formula as every other Zelda game since Ocarina but is that a bad thing? Pfft, no. That the best thing. This game will definitely be epic, no questions asked.
So far there have only been rumours to speculate anything about this game (personally im hoping for a ‘Majora’s Mask’ follow up) all that has been confirmed, and anticipated since ‘Twilight Princess’ is the use of motion plus to fluently control the sword play, so lots of emphasis on that, a few new gimmicks and a tasty mix of nostalgia and innovation is gonna make for a sweet, sweet game.
In a word: Jizz. ~Dan
