Gears of war 3
The Gears of war franchise is probably my favourite franchise on the 360, (I would say Left for dead but that’s not an exclusive, sorry Valve) The Gameplay is innovative, the graphics are outstanding and the story is epic (developer pun intended) Sure it hasn’t got the best online, with servers that are run by hamster wheels, but it’s still amazing nonetheless.
So with Gears of war 2, not only setting the standard to beat and expand on, but also setting up one of the best stories to be concluded, Gears 3 had pretty high expectations.
Somehow Epic managed to beat my expectations.

I don’t really need to elaborate on this. It looks so good it hurts, they’ve addressed so many problems that brought the other games down, four player co-op, a step away from the grungy brown and grey environments, new weapons and they just seem to have polished everything up.
Oh and despite what the trailer says, it’s actually been pushed back to ‘holiday’ 2011, I guess that means Christmas. I cant wait. ~Dan
